Coating Reflectivity Data

Measured reflectivity for the coatings we run, published three ways: as curves, as averages, and as the complete raw spectral file. To our knowledge no other coating service publishes its actual measured data.

Reflectivity curves from 400 to 750 nanometres for three Optic Wave Laboratories coatings. Protected silver rises from 77 percent at 400nm to a 97.05 percent peak and holds it across the visual band. Semi-enhanced aluminum peaks at 92.53 percent near 500nm then falls to 82 percent at 750nm. Standard aluminum stays near 90 percent, peaking at 90.56 percent.
Measured reflectivity, 400–750 nm. Vertical axis is scaled 75–100% so the curves can be read; the raw data is linked above.
